OUR STORY

Two Skills, Rarely Found
In One Teacher

Quran Bliss Academy was founded in 2016 to solve one problem: Muslim families living outside the Arab world struggle to find a Quran teacher who is both qualified in the traditional sciences and able to teach someone who does not speak Arabic.

Those are two different skills. A teacher can hold an Ijazah and still not know how to explain a makhraj to a nine-year-old in London. We built our academy around teachers who have both, graduates of Al-Azhar University and other recognised Islamic institutions who are also trained and tested in teaching non-native speakers in English.

Today we teach +5k students in 10+ countries, from complete beginners learning the Arabic letters to advanced students working toward an Ijazah in the ten Qira’at.

METHODOLOGY

How We Teach

01

One-to-One, Always

Every class is private. No group sessions, no shared attention, no waiting your turn to recite.

02

A Plan Built For You

Your first class is an assessment. Your curriculum is written from its result, not from a template.

03

Taught In English

Rules are explained in a language you understand, then applied in Arabic until they become instinct.

04

Measured, Not Assumed

Written progress reports after every cycle, so you can see movement rather than hope for it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Every teacher at Quran Bliss Academy is a native Arabic speaker and a graduate of Al-Azhar University or a comparable Islamic institution. Our Quran teachers are huffaz who hold an Ijazah in recitation with a connected sanad. Credentials are verified before hiring, and every teacher completes training in teaching non-native speakers before taking their first student. You can view our teachers and their individual qualifications on our Tutors page.

Yes. Every teacher is fluent in English and passes an English assessment before being assigned a student. Tajweed rules, makharij and lesson instructions are explained in English first, then applied in Arabic until they become natural. Teaching non-Arabic speakers is what our academy was built for, you will never be left guessing what a correction means.

Your first lesson is completely free and no credit card is required. You enter no payment details to book it. You can even take two free trials with two different teachers before choosing. After your trial we contact you on WhatsApp within 24 hours to confirm your schedule, and only then do you select a plan.

Both, and you choose. Most students study one-to-one, which is our default format in 30, 45 or 60-minute sessions. We also offer a 45-minute group option, and you can enrol up to four students in a shared class. siblings together, or a parent studying alongside their child. Every additional sibling you register receives a 10% discount.

Yes. We have both male and female teachers, and you can request either when you book your free trial. Many of our families prefer a female teacher for daughters or for adult women, and we match accordingly. If you are not comfortable with your teacher after the trial, you can request a different one at no cost.

That is where most of our students start. Complete beginners begin with Noorani Qaida, which teaches the Arabic letters, their correct pronunciation and how they join together, before ever opening the mushaf. No prior Arabic is needed, and your child does not need to speak Arabic to learn to recite. The first lesson is an assessment so the teacher starts at exactly the right point.

Tell us in advance and we reschedule the session rather than lose it. Message your teacher or our support team on WhatsApp before the class time. If one of our teachers is ever unavailable, we arrange a replacement teacher or move the lesson to a time that suits you, you never lose a class you have paid for.

We accept Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Western Union, with prices in USD and GBP or EUR equivalents available. Fees are billed monthly, all learning materials are included, and there is no registration fee or hidden cost. You can cancel or change your plan at any time, and we offer a money-back guarantee if you are not satisfied.

Yes, each builds on the last: Tajweed focuses on correct pronunciation, Memorization (hifz course for adults) on retaining the Quran, and Ijazah on certified mastery of recitation

Yes, and we offer a discount when you enroll more than one child from the same family
