Quran and Arabic teaching principles
Principle 1: Tutors must demonstrate excellence in teaching
At Quran Bliss Academy, we understand that our principal assets are our teachers. We take our teaching responsibilities very seriously and only recruit uniquely qualified teachers.
Our tutor hiring process is accurate. Each candidate must go through a round of interviews and a verification process. So, this process guarantees that we only chose the best to work with us.
Principle 2: Content is valuable and skill focused
It is no secret that you cannot have great teachers without quality content. Because the material that is available on the market is not custom designed for each student, our approach is to tailor our curriculum specifically for the students. Our priority is to address areas of weakness that were uncovered during our initial evaluation and progress from there. This includes customizing exercises and emphasizing specific skills to make sure the student acquires the required learning.
Principle 3: Encourage active learning
Learning is an active process. Students are not able to learn much by only listening to their tutors, memorizing pre-packaged assignments. They must be able to talk about what they are learning, write about it, relate it to past experiences, and apply it to their daily lives. Students need to make learning a part of themselves.
Principle 4: Technology in the sessions
Incorporating technology into your teaching is a great way to actively engage your students, especially as digital media surrounds young people in the 21st century.
Learning can become more interactive when technology is used such as Zoom meetings, Class Dojo, Active Inspire board ….Etc. into your lesson plans is also a great way to make formative assessments fun and engaging.
Principle 5: Give prompt feedback.
In order for students to benefit from courses, they need appropriate feedback on their performance. Throughout their time in learning, students need chances to reflect on what they have learned, what they still need to know, and how to assess themselves. So, at Quran Bliss Academy we made monthly feedback for students and teachers too.
